We’ll complete the requirements for badge 1 of this series. In our first meeting, well wire a circuit to complete a pressure sensor, explore the sensors on your phone with a free app called Arduino Science Journal, and explore how and why robots are used for many jobs, and touch on what an algorithm is and generate some to to everyday tasks.
In our second session, you’ll program a virtual robot using Scratch. Scratch is a
program developed at MIT to introduce students ages 8-16 to programming. Students will need to sign up for a few Scratch account before class so they can save their progress.

This will complete the requirements for the badge. The badge is not included.

This workshop is for Badge 1 of Cadette Robotics. Tuition is $20 and includes both April 13 and April 20th from 6:30-7:20 Central. Both workshops are required to complete the requirements for badge 1.
