Class Max: 8
Tuition: $20 for 3 50-minutes sessions
Join us for 3 one-hour sessions for an introduction to programming in Python. We’ll explore concepts like loops, variables, and functions as you complete some fun programming challenges like programming cool spirals.
If you decide you love coding, Mr Zak offers more Python classes, so you can continue learning.
You’ll need to download and install Python before this class. Here is a link to a video to help you with that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b58srFXbjjA&t=21s
It is not difficult, but it requires a bit of time depending on your internet or computer speed. We recommend doing it as soon as you sign up for class so you have plenty of time to ask questions.
You do not have to be a Girl Scout to take this workshop. It will meet the requirements for Badge 1 of the Coding for Good badges.
