In this workshop, students will learn the basics of 3-D design using Roblox Studio, a free, virtual game maker. Students will refine their building skills and learn how to use Roblox studio as they create structures.
Our goal is to give students the tools they need to express their ideas! Roblox Studio is a free program. You’ll need to download and install the program before class. Here is the download page: https://www.roblox.com/create and click “start creating”. There should be a choice to download “Studio”
We’re happy to help as needed.
Class will be via Zoom and an invitation will be sent a few days before class. Student will be able to see the teacher computer and share their computer screen with the teacher. Classes are limited to 8 to provide plenty of opportunities to interact.
Your teacher for this class is Mr Max. Mr Max is currently studying for his degree in computer science. He loves designing and playing video games. He has experience designing games using the ClickTeam Fusion Game Engine and in Roblox using the LUA programming language.
