Introduce your child to the world of engineering with LabSpace’s new 10-week STEM Club focused on the physics of energy. Designed specifically for younger builders, students will kick off the semester with a fun, hands-on introduction to gears using LEGO® Simple Machines kits. This builds a friendly, step-by-step foundation in how everyday mechanics work before we bridge those concepts into introductory electronics and robotics. Using a dynamic mix of LEGO® FLL Explore SUPERPOWERED kits and intuitive SPIKE™ Essential coding blocks, students will discover how we capture, store, and use power in the real world. With a strict limit of 8 students per session, every child works at their own dedicated workstation—ensuring plenty of individual guidance and a supportive environment where every student can succeed.
To help celebrate the science concepts learned in class, students will also build and keep several hands-on engineering projects throughout the semester. Because this is a brand-new, interactive curriculum, our instructors will be actively tailoring the pace and tweaking the projects to match the unique creativity and skill level of the group.
Class Max: 8 students
