Be sure to try the new Fun with Math Geometry class! If you have a hands-on learner this is the class for you. Students will learn to use compasses, protractors, and more with differnet hands-on activities each week.
This is not a full geometry curriculum, but a supplement to lay a good foundation. This class will be geared to middle school level math.
This class is designed to maximize interaction between students and the teacher. Students will work in small groups to explore geometric concepts, observe and describe geometric properties, and define relationships of plane figures using manipulatives in a way that fosters the development of spatial visualization, pattern finding and critical thinking.
