Expired Robotics and Engineering Camp- Ages 6-8

Ages 6-8 years old

If your child likes building with Legos and make cool creations from boxes and other “left overs”, this is the camp for them!   We will build a paddle boat, a cardboard grabbers, a moving sculpture and more during the first hour and then, we’ll pull out the new Lego Spike Essentials robotics sets and build and program some  cool projects like a cave car and an artic ride.  We’ll explore motors, sensors and programming.

Parents, we always end on the Lego project of the day so you can take video and pictures of the projects.  Then, we’ll take them apart so we’re ready to build a new project the next day.  The non-Lego creations they make will get to go home with your child.

Activities will be geared for ages 6-8.  If you feel that your older child would benefit, 9 year olds will be welcome.
