Expired Game Design – Make your own Pong Game

The pace of this class will be geared to 10-13 year olds.  This class may be repeated.  We’ll design different style games in each session. Please send a thumbdrive to class with your child. We’ll meet Thursday, July 20 and Friday, July 27 from 1:00-2:30. At the end of day two, we will have a working version of Pong.

Create your own 2-D pong style game.  We explore the basics of Game Design using ClickTeam Fusion, a great game engine for learning to make your own games.  You can download a free version of this program to continue working at home. The software does not require any previous coding knowledge.

We’ll cover basic game making techniques, collisions, movements, creation of objects and inserting objects.
