Expired Balloon Car Workshop

Ready to put your building skills to the test and do some hands-on experimenting with Newton’s Third Law of Motion?  We’ll build the body of our cars from recycled materials. Once you have your car moving smoothly, we’ll add a balloon engine.  You’ll test how far your car can go and how you can make it better.

Parents, you are welcome to stay and build with your child.  This project can be done fairly independently by children ages 9 and up.  Younger students will need a hands-on adult helper.
