Learn the basics of creating artwork digitally. We will work together to create colorful ice cream art. Students will need to bring a tablet or phone and we will use the program kleki.com for our artwork. Kleki is a free program that can be used right from the browser. Students will want to bring their own tablet or phone to work with. LabSpace has a few tablets, if you can’t bring your own device, please let us know in advance.
About your teacher:
Miss Amy is an illustrator, painter and muralist and has taught art for 9 years. She does many of her illustrations digitally and loves to create bright, happy and nostalgic art. Aside from illustrating, she loves large scales painting and your can find her murals in restaurants and building throughout mid-Missouri (including a LabSpace). Teaching art classes is one of her favorite ways to share art. She loves to see students’ creativity blossom and often finds inspiration from their enthusiasm. Miss Amy encourages creativity in her classes. She wants children to take the techniques she teaches and use them to bring their ideas to life, so, no two projects will look the same.
