STEM Club Grades 6-8 will be an ongoing class that focuses on a different STEM related topic in each class. You teacher will be retired math professor, Donna Stallings. Mrs Stallings is excited about all things STEM and has lots of great projects to share!
The focus for this session of STEM Club will be designing and building projects using the engineering design process.
Possible projects:
Extension Poles: Participants will design and build their own extension poles using household items. Extension poles must operate well enough to grab items hidden in high places throughout the classroom.
Rubber Band Cars: Participants will be challenged to design and build a car powered by rubber bands.
Tuition is $50 for 4 sessions.
Well-fitting masks are required for this class LabSpace. Please do not attend classes in you or someone in your family is sick. We are happy to offer a credit for another class if you are sick, so you won’t lose your tutition. You may also choose the “invoice” option at checkout and pay in LabSpace.
