Sold Out Cardboard Automaton

Bring your art skills and we’ll add in some engineering in this fun project.  Create a moving sculpture from cardboard and crafting materils.  This is a great way to explore simple mechanical elements such as cams, levers, and linkages!

We are in need of small Amazon type boxes for this, so please save any you get and bring them along.  This project works best for ages 9+ independently.  Younger children can do it, but will need an adult helper.  This is a family class, adults are asked to stay with their children.

Tuition: $8 per maker with a max of $20 per family.  Adults are welcome to build with their children.

Well-fitting masks are required for all in LabSpace.  Please do not attend classes in you or someone in your family is sick.  We are happy to offer a credit for another class if you are sick, so you won’t lose your tutition.  You may also choose the “invoice” option at checkout and pay in LabSpace.
