Expired Building:Bit Robotics Workshops

Join us for an introduction to the Micro:Bit-a controller that can be used as the “brain” for many different projects.  In the classes, we’ll focus on the basics of how the Micro:Bit controller works and how to incorporate it with expansion boards and motors to bring creations to life.

The Building:bit kit is a  programmable building block kit designed based on BBC Micro:bit, which is composed of Super:bit expansion board, building block servo, Building block motor, battery and 358 building block parts. Students will keep the kit after class so they can continue to learn and build at home.

The class will meet Saturdays, Jan 7-28 from 10:00-10:50.  This kit works best with ages 10+, although younger children would enjoy it alongside an adult helper.
